Being a family business for over 200 years, it’s important to us that your little ones have as much fun as you do during your time with us.

Catering to guests of all ages, we aim to provide a wonderful family experience for parents and youngsters alike. There’s plenty to enjoy as a family during your time with us, bringing your group together to enjoy all that we have to offer. In the restaurant, there’s a wide variety of delicious dishes that will satisfy everyone’s taste buds, from juicy steaks and distinct special dishes for the parents to tasty burgers and sweet desserts for the kids. Our pool area gives your little ones plenty of pool space to enjoy and stretch their water wings while you sit and relax. And our tranquil lounge areas are the perfect spot for you and your troupe to sit back and enjoy your time together.

We've also put together a fantastic V I Little P extras package, giving your little ones the best experience possible. These extras aim to give kids the adult hotel treatment, including mini robes, and V I Little P menus. As well as, seasonal activity packs, bean bag cinema clubs, and events during school holidays.

Located in the heart of Bristol and home to more than 40 naturally themed displays, the aquarium contains over a thousand incredible aquatic creatures, including tropical sharks, stingrays, pufferfish, seahorses, piranhas and many more! Take a journey through the underwater tunnel and watch the natures of the big blue live freely above your head. Then, you’ll discover the Urban Jungle, a giant botanical house filled with hundreds of exotic plants tree species from around the world.

With over 300 exhibits and an aim to inspire creativity and curiosity amongst youngsters about the world of science, We The Curious is a must-see for all ages, taking you on an incredible journey that explores the workings of the world around us. There’s plenty to see and do here, from the exclusive Aardman exhibition by the famed animation studio behind Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run, where you’ll learn the intricacies of working as an animator, to the brand new What If project, the first major science centre exhibition in the UK all about the curiosity of a city, with over 10,000 questions from residents of Bristol being whittled down to exhibitions based on themes like happiness, the universe and time.

The perfect fresh-air destination for getting your kids out into the wider world, the Wild-Place Project is home to over 50 acres of outdoor space with animals from across the globe, including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, meerkats, lemurs and many more! Journey through British Woodlands and venture back in time to 8000 BC when bears roamed the land in the award-winning Bear Wood. Wander through 7.5 acres of beautiful habitat on raised walkways, and watch bears, wolves, lynxes and wolverines roaming the area. There are also play areas for children to enjoy, including the Fun Fort, Congo Bongo and the Barefoot Trail.

Step on board Bristol’s number 1 attraction, the incredible Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great ocean liner. The brainchild of famous Bristolian Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the iconic steamship was rescued from rust and wreckage in 1970 and has since been lovingly restored to its Victorian heyday. Travel back in time and discover true stories from the opulent First Class to the cramped Steerage. Every area of the ship, from the cabin rooms to the kitchen, has been designed to create a distinct feeling of historical authenticity. There’s also an incredible underwater area to see the deep blue sea in all its glory, alongside the Riggers’ Yard and the Great Western Dockyard, which includes interactive displays for you to test your knowledge.
