What are check in and check out times?
You’re welcome to check in from 3pm – if you arrive in the city earlier and need us to store some luggage we’re happy to oblige. Check out is normally 11am.
Is the hotel dog-friendly?
We have 3 dog-friendly rooms in the hotel and 2 in our sister property The Lodge and each of these provides a cosy bed for your four legged friend to sleep on. Whilst we do not permit dogs into our restaurant they are very welcome in our bar area.

Is there a car park?
Yes we have a car park with 240 space and charges apply, free of charge at the weekends. We offer a discounted rate of £3.00 per night for overnight guests.
Do you have electric vehicle chargers?
Yes, we have a number of E. On electric vehicle chargers in our car park. To operate the Electric Charging point please download the E. On Charge App and follow the instructions. Alternatively use the Pay as you Go shown on the charge point. For the courtesy of other guests please remove your car from the bay once fully charged.
What family facilities are there?
We have family rooms that can take up to 2 adults and 3 children and do have some interconnecting rooms too.
Do you cater for special diets?
Yes – we have a team of talented in house chefs and if you let us know – ideally in advance for more unusual requests – we’ll do all we can to ensure you can enjoy a great meal with us.

COVID-19: Key Things To Know
We are delighted that all areas of our hotel are fully open and would like to say a big thank you for all the support you have shown us.
Whilst many visible signs of our safety measures have now been removed, we want you to feel reassured that your safety and our team member's safety are of utmost importance.
We continue to operate in a very safe way – a way which has become the new normal for us and we continue to follow the government guidelines which can be seen here.
Other key things you might want to know in relation to how we are currently operating are:
Whilst it is no longer a legal requirement for our guests to wear a face-covering in public areas we ask that you continue to respect others personal space and wear a face-covering where you feel necessary i.e. in busy areas (these can be seen here).

Please pre-book a table for both breakfast and dinner ahead of your stay so we can try and ensure you a time that suits.
Spa Facilities & Treatments
We will continue to follow government guidance ensuring risk assessments and staff training are completed
Whilst we have increased the capacity of our gym and pool hall, please pre-book your visit to these areas ahead of your stay so we can try and accommodate you at your chosen time.
For treatments, our therapist will continue to wear a face covering and will also take your temperature ahead of starting as an extra safety measure for both yourself and our therapist, we also ask guests to wear face coverings for treatments in keeping with government guidelines.
Can I Cancel My Room Booking Should Things Change?
You can book an overnight stay with confidence knowing that we offer free cancellations on all Fully-Flex rates up until 10:00am on the day of arrival. Please note that this applies to Fully-Flex bookings only and Advance Purchase bookings are non-refundable and cannot be canceled, transferred or amended.
Please also note that you will need to pre-book for use of the gym, pool and for breakfast and dinner spaces.
