The Wave

The Wave is an inland surf destination where everyone can surf on consistent, safe waves all year round. This is a place for all levels of surfers, from beginner to expert, from 7am to 9pm most days. The waves are produced by Wavegarden Cove technology and can produce a new wave every 8-10 seconds. If you’re bringing your surfboards to the hotel don’t worry as we can store them so you can hit the wave anytime during your stay.

Bristol Aquarium

A must-see attraction for all the family. Explore the underwater world and meet the giant Pacific octopus! Bristol Aquarium is fun for all the family with over 4,000 aquatic creatures to discover including, sharks, octopuses, seahorses and many more.

West Country Water Park

A delightful day of activity for the whole family, West Country Water Park is a wonderful way to give your water wings a stretch. Conveniently located just off the M5, the AquaPark is packed full of water-based activities to fill your day, including paddleboarding, windsurfing, jet skiing, water skiing and plenty more. There's a chance to get your engines revving with Gokarting, and there are a number of cafes and shops to enjoy afterwards.

City of Bath

Founded by the Romans, the city of Bath is steeped in history, with magnificent buildings and sites to explore. A UNESCO World Heritage Centre city it’s clear to see why it gained this status from the impressive abbey which stands 49 metres high, with gothic interior and picture-worthy spots at the west front and ‘Ladder of Angels’. The Roman Baths, which date back 2,000 years ago will give you the chance to see the remains of one of the finest spas of the ancient world. You can also spend your day on the river and hire a canoe or go punting.

Bristol Zoo Project

Get outdoors and discover wildlife linked to our conservation projects around the world, including giraffes, lynxes, lemurs and more. Go wild and explore 50 acres of beautiful nature, from woodlands and gardens to the tranquil Tower Meadow - perfect for summer picnics. Hot and cold drinks, pizzas and freshly made sandwiches are available from our food outlets.

Aerospace Bristol

Charting the incredible story of Bristol's aviation achievements, Aerospace Bristol gives visitors the opportunity to step into an amazing history amongst the skies. Discover the earliest days of powered flight through to the innovations taking place in the world of aviation today. The space is filled with fascinating relics, including aeroplanes, helicopters, missiles and much more, alongside interactive exhibits telling their stories. The aerospace is also home to the iconic Concorde, the world's fastest-passenger jet. Glimpse into the cockpit and walk amongst the passenger cabin, where you'll see how passengers travelled in style on this historic plane.

The Wave

Clifton Suspension Bridge

Visit the world-famous suspension bridge spanning the Avon Gorge and River. This 150-year-old Grade I listed structure is a sight to see. This Grade I listed structure is an impressive sight and one not to be missed. Stretching over the Avon River, the bridge is a magnificent feat of engineering. Take the free tour to learn more and begin your journey across. With it being a suspension bridge, you might feel the sway of its flexible design! Why not climb Observatory Hill to capture a spectacular view.

Bristol Harbour

Dating back to the 13th century, the harbour is now a thriving centre filled with museums, exhibitions, galleries and bars, right in the heart of Bristol. Take in the buzz of Sunday markets or try out a variety of water sports such as yachting, paddle boarding, cycling and rowing.
